One night in the fall of 2006 at a dinner party with fellow University of Oregon fans, an idea came to Karon Paul, creator of UP-2-U. By taking sets of wooden shaped napkin rings, Karon began stacking the rings into towers, promoting lots of lively discussion and a growing interest among the group to take part in the tower building. The next day, cozy by the fireplace ready to watch the Ducks play, Karon reflected on the night before and thought about how much fun their impromptu tower game became. With a flash of inspiration, she thought, "why not fashion a game out of stackable pieces for your favorite university and give people something fun to do the next time they get together with their college friends and family members" And, with that UP-2-U was born, with the first edition customized for the inspirational team — The University of Oregon Ducks. more >>
